Let us Pray!
Mater Dei Parish February 28,2020 J.M.J. My brothers and sisters in Christ, good morning! Today, as we continue our Lenten journey together, I am offering a reflection by St. Saint John Chrysostom. St. John was A rchbishop of Constantinople, and was an important Early Church Father and Doctor of the Church. He was known for his preaching and public speaking. During Lent, we are asked to devote ourselves to seeking the Lord in prayer and reading Scripture , to service by giving alms , and to practice self-control through fasting . Today, let us focus on our quest to be more united in Christ through prayer. This reflection is wonderful! It gave me inspiration...I hope the same for you! Until next time... In His peace!
