Important Announcement
From our Pastor, Fr. Rijo:
Beginning August 1, 2020,
until further notice, there will
be no DAILY (Monday - Friday) 
Holy Mass offered 
at 4:00 PM.
The daily morning Holy Mass
at 9:00 AM will continue.

Holy Adoration



Jesus invites you to be in His presence
each Monday from 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM
at St. Edward the Confessor Church.

Morning Prayer (Liturgy of the Hours)
from the Shorter Christian Prayer)
 and the Divine Mercy Chaplet
will be prayed from 9:00 - 10:00.

Jesus also invites you to be in His presence
Friday (TONIGHT)evenings at 7:00 PM, in person
 or live-streamed 
From St. Mary Star of the Sea
Church.
The Holy Rosary will be prayed 
following Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.
We will conclude with Benediction.

The Hidden Power of Kindness

~Consider others' patience toward you.~

St Paul says, "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
The law of Christ is: "Love one another as I have loved you."
The advice to "bear one another's burdens" refers to patience. The Apostle
gives us a very gentle yet unmistakable hint as to why we should patiently bear 
with troublesome people. He suggests that we ourselves may be burdensome.

It is good to be reminded of this fact, because we do not easily think of it. We do
not feel the weight of the burden we lay on the shoulders of others. People perhaps
do not say a word about how troublesome you are, but they bear with you in
kindly silence and patience. Hence, you should repay them in the same way, 
rewarding patience with patience by putting up with what may be troublesome in them.

Examine your conscience from time to time to see what there is in your nature, 
your conduct,  and your actions that may get on the nerves of those around you.


There are very few people who please everybody in every way. When you have
discovered your defects, do what you can to correct them.

    Thank you Deacon Ward. Your words of kindness piece was a great reminder that I(and others) need to do periodically.
    This is crazy.. That we have not changed throughout the years and this video unfortunately demonstrates that history repeats itself when we don't put the Lord first.
