Holy Sunday Masses will resume !

Mater Dei parish will again be celebrating Sunday and Holy Day masses beginning the weekend of June 6 and 7.

There will be  protocols regarding the number of people who can attend and precautions that will be in place for everyone's safety.

And some of those protocols are:

• If you are sick or feeling ill...do not come to Mass.
• Attendees are asked to wear a mask.
• Attendees are asked to bring their own hand sanitizer.
• If there are too many attendees (more than 25% of Church's capacity) the attendee will be asked to go to the next Mass time being offered. If there is a large attendance trend, parishioners will be asked to sign up to attend a particular Mass time.
• Individual attendees will sit where the pews are marked (spacing will be 6 feet apart).
• Families may sit together.
• There will be no missalettes or song books in the pews.
• Holy Communion will be distributed at the end of Mass; Holy Communion will be offered at the door as you are exiting and will be given on the hand only. The Church bulletin will also be handed out at this time.
• There is to be no group gatherings before, during, or after the Mass in the Church.
• Utilize your hand sanitizer when leaving.
• The Church will be sanitized after each Mass.

These protocols and precautions may be modified or changed...stay tuned!

A final thought...

We must try to converse with God 

in little ways while we go about

our daily lives...not in memorized 

prayer, not trying to recite 

previously formed thoughts.

Rather, we should purely and 

simply reveal our hearts as the

words come to us.
