Happy Easter, my brothers and sisters in Christ!
Alleluia!  Alleluia!

"Life and physical health are precious gifts entrusted to us by God. We must take reasonable care of them, taking into account the needs of others and the common good." Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC:) 2288

“Pray for Our Priest and Deacons”

Today we pray for Fr. Ilayaraja Amaladass of our diocese…and also for Deacon John Ramey.

“Eternal Father, we lift up to you these and all the priests and deacons of the world.
Sanctify them, heal and guide them.
Mold them into the likeness and holiness
of your Son, Jesus, the Eternal High Priest.
May their lives be pleasing to you.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.” Amen.

Bonjour...hello everyone!

We're now sliding towards the end of another week. This separation from all things normal is tough and will continue to be difficult for a bit longer. We can and must persevere.

On the news/announcements front, there is nothing of importance to report. I checked the wire services from the Vatican and from our diocese...all's quiet.

Bishop Coyne has indicated we are to continue the status quo regarding the celebration of private Masses and all other forms of public devotion.

Fr. Rijo has no new announcements for our parish other than we've added an additional Sunday Holy Mass...8:30 AM, live-streamed from St. Edward the Confessor Church.  We are truly blessed to have these Holy Mass options!

~Tonight we will be offering ADORATION~

This will begin at 7:00 PM and last for about forty five minutes.
If you're looking for a way to reflect, this is an excellent way to make time for Jesus. During this time you can pray, read Holy Scripture, do evening prayer for Liturgy of the Hours, pray the Holy Rosary...or just be still, and be in His presence.
Please join me!

A prayer to lead us into the weekend.
Let us pray:

"Lord Jesus, your love knows no bounds
and surpasses everything I could desire and long for.
Fill me with the fire of your love
and with the joy of your Holy Spirit
that I may freely serve my neighbor
with loving kindness, tenderhearted mercy,
and generous care for their well-being."
Amen.

Join us tonight at 7:00 (go to the Mater Dei website to join)
and for Holy Mass this Sunday.

Until next time...
In His peace.
Deacon Ward
